About Meg
Meg is the mother of three active boys. In between blogging, writing, giving talks, researching and occasionally sleeping, Meg worked with women in private practice as an IBCLC for a decade. She is currently in “inactive status” and is not seeing clients.
Her background is in counselling and sexual health. She was also a La Leche League Leader (breastfeeding counsellor) for seven years before becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
Needless to say, she is passionate about helping women reach their breastfeeding goals and loves helping to get the word out about how women can do this!
While she is not currently in practice, you can still buy her books or view her BOOBinars.
Meg has had her articles published in Nurture Magazine, Natural Mother Magazine, and the websites Mamamia and Babycenter (among others!) She has been interviewed for The Project TV show and various online radio shows. She has also presented at the Australian Breastfeeding Association conference, iLactation and the Gold Lactation Conference.
She has won an Ausmumpreneur Award for her blog and in early 2016 “Lactaboobiephobia”, a documentary based on her blog post about breastfeeding in public was released. The film can be viewed HERE.
Meg has also written two books, “Boobin’ All Day…Boobin’ All Night. A Gentle Approach To Sleep For Breastfeeding Families” and “All Tied Up! How to keep on boobin’ through a tongue tie”. These can be found HERE.
